Konan Tanigami

Konan Tanigami (1879-1928) was an esteemed Japanese artist known for his remarkable kacho-e, or bird-and-flower paintings. Working during the Taisho era, Tanigami became widely acclaimed for his graceful fusion of classic Japanese artistry with Western influences.
